  • Dr. Amanda Brown

    DVM

Dr. Amanda Brown grew up on a 10-acre ranch in Mission, Texas, where her early exposure to animals sparked a deep passion for their well-being. To Dr. Brown, being a veterinarian means prioritizing the health of our beloved pets while working in the best interests of their human companions. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2015, followed by a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 2020. Her veterinary interests include dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and animal behavior. Outside of work, Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring new adventures with her dogs, and finding new ways to keep her cats entertained.

  • Dr. Xavier Coonrod

    DVM

Dr. Coonrod is originally from a suburb of Dallas, Texas. His passion for caring for animals led him to Texas A&M University in College Station, where he earned his undergraduate degree in Poultry Science with honors in 2021. He continued his education at Texas A&M, graduating with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2025. During vet school, Dr. Coonrod developed a strong interest in small animal surgery, dentistry, and physical rehabilitation. He enjoys the problem-solving and hands-on nature of surgery, the precision and preventative care involved in dentistry, and the rewarding outcomes that rehabilitation can provide for pets recovering from injury or illness. He is also Fear Free Certified for small animals, which reflects his commitment to making veterinary visits as stress-free and comfortable as possible. At home, Dr. Coonrod stays busy with his own pack: Buster, a spunky Italian Greyhound mix; Dennis, a talkative Siamese cat; and Hops, a sweet and goofy pit-mix. His goal is always to provide thoughtful, compassionate, and practical care to every patient he sees.
